Terms of Service
Last updated 26 July 2026. These terms govern your use of Dutta. Plain language, no traps.
1. The agreement
By creating a workspace you agree to these terms on behalf of your organisation. If you have signed a separate enterprise agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your users, their credentials, and the permissions you grant to AI employees. Keep access current; revoke it when people leave.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Dutta to break the law, to infringe rights, to generate deceptive content, to attack systems you do not own, or to make automated decisions about people that require human judgement (hiring outcomes, credit, medical, legal). We may suspend a workspace that does.
4. Your data, your ownership
You own your workspace data and everything Dutta produces for you. You grant us the limited licence needed to run the service on your behalf. We claim no rights in your content.
5. AI output
Dutta drafts, prepares, and acts within the permissions you set — but it can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing consequential output. Use the approval checkpoints; they exist for this reason.
6. Fees and billing
Plans are billed monthly or annually per AI employee on shift. Humans are unlimited. Retire an employee and billing stops at the next cycle. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Availability
We target 99.9% monthly uptime; Enterprise plans carry a contractual SLA with credits. Planned maintenance is announced in advance on status.dutta.io.
8. Termination
You may cancel at any time and export your data. We may terminate for material breach, non-payment, or unlawful use, with notice where practicable.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are notified at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre. Questions: legal@dutta.io.
